Accomack County Boat Launching Facilities


Accomack County offers miles and miles of shoreline with its creeks, inlets, and bays.  The county maintains numerous launching facilities to enable residents and visitors to enjoy the aquatic environment.  County facilities may be used without charge however overnight mooring is not permitted.  Other facilities are owned and maintained by harbor committees or towns.  These facilities may charge a fee for use.

Caution: 
Always consult a current nautical chart before entering waters that you are not familiar with.  Water depths vary considerably among the county's facilities.Click on the green dot to see a more detailed map of the area around the facility.  The detailed map is sized to print on a single sheet of paper.








Public Boating Facility Operations and Maintenance

The County maintains twenty eight facilities for public use. There is no charge. Overnight mooring is prohibited at all facilities.  Use the instructions below to access facility locations.
