Do you have commercial (airline) flights?
There are no commercial airline flights scheduled from the Accomack County Airport. You may fly commercial airlines using the Norfolk International Airport (Virginia) or the Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport (Maryland).

When is the Airport available for use?
The Airport (runway and apron) are available for aircraft operations 24 hours per day.

The Terminal and operational services are available seven days a week. Please see the right sidebar for these hours of operations.

Do you have hangar space?
T-hangars are available by lease only , and there is a waiting list.

To be placed on the "T-hangar Waiting List" for a lease, please make your request in writing.

The Airport (apron) has 15 tie-down spaces available. These may be rented by the month, or are available for temporary tie down by transient aircraft.

Do you have overnight hangar space available?
No.

When are you going to build more hangars?
Although there is a waiting list for hangar space, there is not yet enough demand to build additional hangars. When there is sufficient demand we will build more hangars.

Do you offer Aviation Fuel Sales?
Accomack County Airport has 100LL (avgas) available for purchase - into aircraft only.

Do you have jet fuel?
Yes, jet fueling services are now available.  A Jet-A refueler truck is also on site for quick-turn operations.  Self service fueling is available after hours for both Jet-A and 100LL.

What Pilot Supply Items are available?
Aeronautical Charts, aircraft oil (Aeroshell), and certain other pilot supplies are available for purchase.

Are there any souvenirs that I can purchase?
Yes, we have T-shirts, Sweat Shirts, and Caps (summer and winter).

Do you have rental cars?
There is no car rental service available on-site. There are local companies that rent cars. If you call us at (757) 787-4600, we will be happy to provide you with their telephone number.

The local rental car companies, upon the customers arrangements directly with the company, will bring the automobile to the Airport prior to arrival. The automobile can be left at the Airport at the time of departure. The rental car company drops and picks up the cars, with prior arrangement.

You may also find that many aviation websites have posted information concerning rental cars.

Do you have a courtesy car?
We do not have a courtesy car. If you wish to rent a car, there are local companies that rent cars. If you call us at (757) 787-4600, we will be happy to provide you with their telephone number.

How far is the nearest restaurant?
There are several very nice restaurants within a short driving distance from the airport. The closest one is four miles.

When was the Airport built?
The Airport was built in 1942.

When was the Terminal built?
The Terminal was built in 1997.

Who owns and operates the Airport?
The Airport is owned by the County of Accomack (Board of Supervisors), and the Accomack County Airport Commission oversees the operation of the airport. They have established Rules and Regulations and Minimum Standards for the Accomack County Airport.
