The above FireMedics from Accomack County Department of Public Safety participated in the National Fallen Firefighter's 9/11 Memorial stair climb in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, September 11, 2021. The 2021 Stair Climb marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the United States.  This climb as well as others around the nation fund the programs provided by the NFFF to support the families of local fallen firefighters and the FDNY Counseling Services Unit. The Department was happy to be able to take part in this event and plan to continue to attend in the future to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice that day and their families left behind.
