Facilities Maintenance and Land Cover Management Plan

at Wallops Research Park

The County of Accomack, Virginia, is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide facilities maintenance and land cover management plan at Wallops Research Park.  The work covered consists of all labor, materials, equipment and performance of all operations necessary or required to mow, trim, edge, control weeds, to maintain stormwater/erosion and sediment control areas, and otherwise to maintain approximately 100-acre facility and manage land cover at Wallops Research Park located at Aerospace Gateway and Mill Dam Road, Wallops Island VA 23337.

 A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016, on site, at the Wallops Research Park entrance on the corner of Mill Dam Road and Aerospace Gateway.  For GPS navigation, use 34001 Mill Dam Road, Wallops Island  VA   23337.

 Proposals will be accepted in the Office of the County Administrator, 23296 Courthouse Ave, Suite 203, PO Box 388, Accomac, VA   23301, until 4:00 pm, Thursday, August 4, 2016.
