The County of Accomack is accepting proposals from Virginia-licensed architectural and engineering (A/E) firms to provide professional services related to new construction and/or renovation of a variety of public buildings and facilities.  The work will include (but not necessarily be limited to) surveying, conceptual design, cost estimating, regulatory permitting, detail design, preparation of drawings and bid documents, bidding assistance, bid review and recommendations, contract preparation, and construction management.  Typical public facilities covered by this contract will include administrative office buildings, public parks parking lots, water and sewer systems/connections but will not include water access sites, solid waste landfill units, or specialty aviation components of the Accomack County Airport.  The selected firm will provide on-call architectural & engineering services on an as-needed basis for the contract term and will support Accomack County Public Works & Facilities.
