The County of Accomack is accepting proposals from Virginia-licensed engineering firms to provide professional marine design services related to improvements of a variety of public water access facilities. The work will include (but not necessarily be limited to) surveying, conceptual design, cost estimating, regulatory permitting, detail design, preparation of drawings and bid documents, bidding assistance, bid review and recommendations, contract preparation, and construction management. Water access projects will typically involve improvements to existing docks, boat ramps, bulkheads, shorelines, and harbors. The selected firm will provide on-call engineering services on an as-needed basis for the contract term and will support Accomack County Public Works & Facilities.
