The County of Accomack seeks sealed bids to establish an annual contract with a vendor to purchase and remove scrap metal from the seven (7) County solid waste convenience centers and the County Garage. The intent of this Invitation for Bids is to obtain costs for the purchase and removal of scrap metal. The County desires to sell discarded household appliances, commonly referred to as “white goods,” and other assorted scrap metal received at the County convenience centers and Garage. The County may add additional locations during the contract term.
