NAME OF PUBLIC BODY  
Accomack County Wetlands Board 
 PURPOSE
To hear and decide whether to grant or deny a permit while preserving and preventing the despoliation and destruction of wetlands while accommodating necessary economic development in a manner consistent with wetlands preservation. 
 ENABLING LEGISLATION
Code of Virginia 28.2-1303, et seq. 
MEETING FREQUENCY 
 4th Thursday of every month.
MEETING TIME AND LOCATION 
 10:00 a.m. in the Board Chambers of the County Administration Building in Accomac.
