Welcome to Accomack County's Kronos Resource Center!  

This webpage is designed to provide employees with information on how to use the Kronos system effectively.  Here you will find:

Kronos Implementation Project Updates

Most County employees and employees of Constitutional Officers, with the exception of the Sheriff's Office, went live with Kronos Workforce Central® on 12/4/16.  Employees of the Sheriff's Office went live with the application on 12/18/16.  These two groups represented all users in Phase 1 of the project.  Phase 2 included all County employees assigned to the County's solid waste convenience centers. This phase went live on 4/2/17.

Note that all employee accrued leave balances in Kronos are now up-to-date and will remain so going forward.  Leave balances originally uploaded to Kronos were two weeks in arrears but this is no longer the case.

Time Card Approval Timelines

Employees and managers are required to approve time cards on a weekly basis within Workforce Central. Approvals are required by both the employee and manager within 2 business days after the end of the week.  Follow this link to see a table containing upcoming time card approvals deadlines.  Submission of paper time sheets is no longer required if you are using Kronos Workforce Central® to record your time worked and leave taken.
