*Note: Mr. Boutet won the Nov. 2025 special election and is officially the Accomac town mayor.

*Note: Henry T. Nicholson, Jr. resigned as town council member for the Town of Parksley, effective January 13, 2025.  The town council appointed Mr. Ronnie Marshall to fill the vacant seat for unexpired term to end December 2026 as pursuant to § 3.2. of the Parksley town charter.

*Note: Effective July 1, 2021, ALL municipal elections shifted from May to November. Governing bodies for each town are required to pass an ordinance to make it effective and update charters to reflect the change. No term of a mayor, a member of council, or a member of a school board shall be shortened as a result of implementing this change. Mayors and members of a council or school board who were elected at a May general election and whose terms are to expire as of June 30 shall continue in office until their successors have been elected at the November general election and have been qualified to serve.

*Note: The Town of Belle Haven is split between Northampton County and Accomack County. Because the larger portion of the town is in Accomack County, state law dictates that the elections for town offices are conducted in this county. For more information on Town of Belle Haven elected officials contact the Accomack County Registrar at 757-787-2935.
