The Accomack County Sheriff's Office maintains the Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control Facility. This facility is used by both Accomack and Northampton Counties. The facility houses animals collected by animal control officers. The Accomack County Sheriff's Office provides two of these officers as well as the facility's administrator.
